I don't see it happening. The Yankees need a warm body to pitch for those games.

Once September comes, expect to see some additions to the team to get some ML playing time in. "DL Carla" will get a contract elsewhere, but the Yankees won't get anything for him. Can't offer arbitration as he will probably take it and that means another year of him pitching 3 or 4 games then getting hurt.

The season is pretty much over. Just the final denials remain keeping us hopeful of some big meltdown and surge.
