10/16: Game 1 of the ALCS, top of the 4th. Guerrero drills one to the left center gap. It looked like it was gone, and Sterling sure thought it was (as well as everybody else), but it died and hit the wall for a double.

It's gone! No, it's a double!

I didn't actually hear it myself, but I read a comment about it.

I figured that had to be one. Even Damon looked to give up on it, so I thought it was gone just by his reaction.

10/25/09: John Sterling on an 8th-inning fly by Mark Teixeira in Game 6 of the ALCS. So close to blowing it open. But we'll take the sac fly. 3-run lead with 3 outs to go to the Series.

11/2/09: Game 5 of the World Series, Jorge Posada leads of the 9th and drills one to right center.

"It is high, it is far, it is...off the wall!"

Once again, I didn't hear it, but read about it on the blog formerly known as Pete Abe's.

I was procrastinating from paper-writing today and decided to go back and watch some highlights from Game 6. To my surprise, I found another FSHRC. Sterling committed one on Matsui's RBI double. Though in a World Series clinching game, I don't know that I can blame him.

Approximately 4 months until the next FSHRC!

That's funny that you found that now. You had me wondering what in the world you were posting in Games Today! Yep, a long 4 months until more baseball, yet for some reason it seems like ages ago that they won the World Series.
