Pena was pretty much ignored by Girardi last season, at least so the reporting said.
Kelleher at first makes some sense, though he is untried there in the majors. I think Thomson is the more key coach as it can cost outs if he makes bad reads on the field situation. I am sure there will be blips with him there, but I think it makes more sense to have Pena as bench coach - allows Girardi to benefit from his knowledge more, if he allows it anyway.
Long will be judged by how the struggling hitters of last year do. Namely Cano but also Melky are probably the biggest keys to him keeping his job.
Eiland will be fine unless all the starters come out stinking. I don't know if that is totally fair, but such is the position.
Harkey can only work with what he is given. Hopefully they will be a solid bullpen, but too often the bullpen guys seem to be year to year on how effective they are.
