It's only 8 games into the season, but the standings are already very interesting.

Baltimore 6-2
Toronto 6-3
New York 4-4
Tampa Bay 4-4
Boston 2-6

Toronto may end up being a tough team this year. They are scoring runs pretty well, their pitching will be the thing to watch with them.

I think the Orioles will come back to form before too long. They have some nice players, but they got off to a decent start last year as well, and we all saw how that worked for them.

Boston seems an um... eclectic mixture of youth and experience. So far the youth is too young and the age is just that: aged. May it continue....

After splitting our home opener with the second worst team in baseball (by record), the Yankees still are in 2d place in the AL East.

Yeah, 2nd place sure looks better than 4th, which is what they would've been in had they lost yesterday.

However, the RS have just joined us for 2nd as they have beat the O's 12-1 today. I didn't even know they were playing so early.
