Sadly.

This coming election it will be winner by default of not being as bad as the other choice. Not a good way for the country.

Yeah, though I felt that Ford got a lot of bad treatment from the press.

Did you know he is the only Eagle Scout to have held the office of President? Ford that is.

The pardon of Nixon is what ended Ford's chance at being elected. Though I think it was the right thing to do, as it put it to an close, I think he knew it was political sucide.

The, he was the right guy and did the right thing. Didn't know he was the only Eagle Scout; DID know he had a bad knee from college football at Michigan which caused his pratfalls...

Hillary, power-hungry?! Say it ain't so!

Actually guys, seriously, it's just frightening the things this lady is willing to do to achieve her goals. She'll play any political game, any race card, she'll change any position, she'll slander whoever she has to.

I can't imagine the damage she'd do to this country.

I like Condi and Jeb, too.

As for Senator McCain, yuck. I'd vote for him over the Democrat, because we're in the middle of a war on terror, but I wouldn't be happy about it. Al, you getting nervous? McCain's the front-runner, for sure.

As for me? I'm behind Mitt Romney. Jump on the bandwagon--there's plenty of room.

Tip, a good move, I just wonder if McCain hasn't wrapped things up?
Huckabee could be killing Romney's chances.
Big day tomorrow---we'll see how the conservatives respond. A lot of people are getting word out that a vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain, which in turn may end up being a vote for Hillary.

I've heard Romney is surging in the polls. I hope that is true and he picks up a few states he's not supposed to.

Huckaphony is staying in for two reasons:
1) He's hoping to get McCain's favor as much as possible to perhaps land the VP job.

2) I think he really is an anti-Mormon bigot. I really feel like that is his main objection to Romney.

Hmm, interesting point there on Huckabee.

I don't put a lot of faith in the polls. Too many are push polls designed to create interest. They are used as news items now as well.

I would vote for Romney. I really don't see myself voting for McCain. Even with Hilldabeast as the opposition, I don't see any difference other than gender between her and McCain.

If it comes down to McCain vs. Clinton, I'll vote for Clinton. At least her voting record indicates a stronger support for the military and GWOT than McCain's does.

I totally agree Rob. I think Huckabee is not representing the Christian faith very well--or conservatives for that matter. If he really wanted to do what was in the best interest of the country, he would throw his support to Mitt because Mitt will need it and Mitt is the best candidate of the other 4 remaining.

I wouldn't vote for Obama like I said earlier. If it's McCain-Hillary or McCain-Obama, I will be sitting at home in Nov.

Obama's commercials regarding ending the war in Iraq leave me non-plussed.... totally not committed to staying the course, not doing what is right. Sad.

That isn't what her voting record says.

Here's the thing. She and McCain are saying what they need to say to get nominated. It isn't real. It's just spin. So, look at how they've voted, what they've actually done.

Hillary a few days ago said if elected she would meet with her Generals and withdraw from Iraq as early as possible. The key to that statement is the "meet with her Generals". That will become the excuse for not withdrawing.

Clinton and McCain are politicians. But when it comes to their voting records, McCain is the worst of the two when it comes to supporting the military or GWOT.

Remember that Obama has strong ties to Islam, that doesn't make me very comfortable.
