Did anyone see what happened to the Padres pitcher and catcher last night, other than Charmaine? That was absolutely brutal, and very, very tough to watch.

Yeah, that was sickening to see, Brian, and both happening in the same inning, and both injuries indirectly caused by Pujols. I'm sure he must feel awful, too. Gosh, I wonder how a pitcher mentally gets over something like that?

If I thought the Yankees had problems, the Padres sure have them beat. They just had to put Peavy on the DL, and then this happens.

Read about this, but didn't see any of it. Man that is tough.

While I don't mind the Yankees taking advantage of injuries to other teams, I really don't like hearing about players being injured. This type of thing almost always seems to happen in bunches, though. I wonder if it comes from trying too hard to make more happen to pick up for the loss of a player.

Think about the Yankees this year. Jeter, Posada, A-Rod, Bruney, Betty, Betty, Hughes.

I think they somehow relate, even if it isn't directly.
