Hughes isn't stretched out. In order for him to return to the rotation, he would have to go to the minors for a time. So how does that solve the problem? The problem now is that both Hughes and Joba look better in the bullpen. Seeing as the Yankees have actually built a pretty strong pen now, there really isn't room for both of them out there. Gardner gets to that "hit" from Guttierez, I think. Then the inning would be over. Instead, it's a tie game. Bases loaded last inning, with no outs, and they come away with but 1 run. Inexcusable. The offense has slept their way to just 3 runs, when they should have double that. And Joba ...

Nothing like prime time helping the pitcher out at-bats. This is exactly what happens when the pitcher makes you swing at his pitch and you not making him come in with a good pitch by swinging at bad pitches. A joke that keeps on making me laugh.
