Hughes isn't stretched out. In order for him to return to the rotation, he would have to go to the minors for a time. So how does that solve the problem? And there is not guarantee that he pitches better than Joba. Joba biggest problem, in my opinion, is immaturity. He needs to grow up big time. If...

Well, maybe they do have a bullpen hole to fill if Bruney keeps on pitching like this... So if Joba is thrown back in the pen to straighten himself out, who starts? Even with these last few bad starts, his stats in the rotation are better than Hughes'. With Wang hurt, they don't have too many other...

The problem now is that both Hughes and Joba look better in the bullpen. Seeing as the Yankees have actually built a pretty strong pen now, there really isn't room for both of them out there. Sure is hard to find quality starting pitching. I'm going to go on being patient with them. That's why they...

More and more AJ is proving his worth which is a huge shot in the arm to this pitching staff and our chances this year. We all know that the Twins and the Jays are only stepping stones to bigger and better things and being 16 games over on July 8th doesn't mean a whole lot if we don't continue this ...

As much as you gotta love Pena's glove I'm not sure we're ready for a weak hitting SS to replace Jeter - there's such a major drop off. SS has usually been a relatively weak spot for hitting. Jeter is an aberration. If we are waiting for another player like him to come along, we're in for a long wa...

Torre school of management: A relief pitcher can't go more than one inning unless he sucks. If he is pitching lights out, yank him and put in a struggling reliever to blow the game. That's pretty funny Rob, but it isn't because it's so true. They're dying to develop roles and have guys know what th...

What were they thinking pitching to A-Rod anyway with a base open? I was shocked and then they went to the well once too often trying to jam him inside.

Gardner gets to that "hit" from Guttierez, I think. Then the inning would be over. Instead, it's a tie game. Bases loaded last inning, with no outs, and they come away with but 1 run. Inexcusable. The offense has slept their way to just 3 runs, when they should have double that. And Joba ...

Nothing like prime time helping the pitcher out at-bats. This is exactly what happens when the pitcher makes you swing at his pitch and you not making him come in with a good pitch by swinging at bad pitches. A joke that keeps on making me laugh.
