Actually, the Rays against the Cubs, no matter what the Cubs' record might be ;-)

Just heard on ESPN that Percival hurt his leg/hamstring. Boy, would that be a big hit if he is also out for an extended period of time.

The problem with the Tampa injuries is that it's probably too little, too late.

If only Tampa and Boston's positions were reversed. If the Yankees were chasing a suddenly hurting, inexperienced Rays team down the stretch, I'd feel very optimistic. But it's the Red Sox they're after, and they'll be a lot less likely to go into a tailspin and leave the Yanks with a daunting task ahead of them.

Tampa does just enough to win every night.

3-2, 7-6.

It must make all 12 of their fans really happy!

Yup. Whatever it is that they're doing, if the Yankees did it, they wouldn't know how to do it.

And Rays keep on going and going.
Now winning on the road against a tough White Sox team. Now if only the Yankees can sweep the
Dead Sox they can help the Rays and get themselves back in the thick of the Wild Card Race.
maybe we can get a ALCS of the Rays vs The Yanks.

Wohhhh, slow down there larnov.

The Yankees have a 5 game and a 3.5 game deficit(s) to overcome.

The division is out of the question, as I am now more certain than ever that Tampa has a pact with Satan, seeing as how they don't even need their closer, centerfielder, or supposed indispensable team star 3rd baseman to win games.

Why does Selig not have George Mitchell on this?? Can anyone tell me?!
